- What is a bank connection?
- A bank connection represents the consent you have given Synci to access your banking data. Each authentication with a bank counts as one connection, until the consent expires or you delete the connection.
- How often do you sync my bank data?
- By default we sync your bank data every 6 hours. Users on the Advanced or Pro plans may adjust the sync frequency to be anywhere between every 30 minutes and every 24 hours.
- What are rules?
- Rules consist of conditions and actions. They can be used to automatically handle or manipulate transactions, and are a powerful tool for improving your workflows and the quality of your data. Conditions are the criteria a transaction must meet in order for the rule actions to be executed. Actions define how the transaction should be transformed or handled.
- Why is there a limit to the number of rules per entity?
- Every transaction we fetch is processed by our rule engine. At high volumes, the rule engine could potentially become a bottleneck if we allowed unlimited rules per entity. We have determined that 5 rules per entity is a reasonable limit for now. As we grow, we will continue to evaluate this limit and might increase it in the future.
- How do the AI powered features work, and where does my data go?
- Synci uses a private Azure OpenAI container for all AI powered features. When enabled, anonymized transaction data is sent to and processed by Azure OpenAI. Your data will NOT be available to OpenAI or used to improve any Microsoft or 3rd party products or services. We recommend reading the Azure Direct Models privacy policy before enabling AI powered features.
- What kind of support do you offer?
- We offer support through an AI chatbot, live chat and email. We also have a help center with comprehensive documentation, which the AI chatbot is trained on. While we strive to always respond in a timely manner, we cannot guarantee response times. For users on the Pro plan, we offer priority support. With priority support, your tickets are placed in a high priority queue and will be answered as soon as possible.
- Will you increase the prices?
- We try to keep prices fair, and they are always subject to change. However, we do offer a price guarantee for all active subscribers. If you have subscribed to a plan, your price is locked in until you cancel your subscription. Price changes only apply to new subscriptions.
- What is your refund policy?
- We have a generous refund policy, and you can find it in the help center, or by clicking here. In summary, you can always request a refund within 14 days of your last payment. If you are experiencing any issues with an officially supported bank, and we are unable to fix the issue in a timely manner, you can also request a refund regardless of when the last payment was made.
